Covid-19 Safety Information

Covid-19 Safety Information

We want you to have a relaxed time at Stones Cottages, we treat the cleaning and preparation of the cottages very seriously. We have spent a lot of time researching cleaning and sanitising methods and making risk assessments in relation to coronaviruses and Covid-19. It has meant a lot of changes and a lot of hard work.

It is important to us that everyone is safe and Stones Cottages is still a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Pembrokeshire.

Cleaning

In order to stay true to our eco ethos we are airing the cottages during the changeover. We use eco sanitiser approved for coronaviruses. All surfaces are properly cleaned and sanitised and no viral bombs are used. We use a steam cleaner where necessary.

Covid-19 & Opening

We are now fully open in accordance with the Welsh Government regulations. Please check the regulations if you are travelling from outside of Wales as these are different from the rest of the UK.

Changes to Arrival & Departure Times

Most likely we will be asking you to arrive after 5pm and leave earlier by 9am. This is to allow for the extended cleaning time and so that we can air the cottage before you arrive.

In some instances or if the R rate starts to rise again we may need to reinstate the 30hr buffers we had in place last year and ask you to leave a day earlier. If this arises your 7-day booking will be reduced to six nights. A two week, booking to 13 nights. Your booking cost will be reduced if this is the case.

Short breaks can not be booked on line for this period but you are welcome to contact us directly. This is to allow us to control the changeover days and extended cleaning times. If the start and end dates on our booking system don’t work for you please email us or call us. Please also contact us if you would like any more information.

Deposits and Payments

Due to the uncertainties of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic for everyone, if you need to cancel due to local lockdown then your payments will either be refunded or we can move your booking to alternate dates. Similarly, if we have to close at short notice if one of us developed coronavirus symptoms we would also refund you.

After you book, we will send you our safety information sheet. This superseeds the information on the website and we ask you to read it before paying the deposit and thus confirming your booking.

Covid-19 Restrictions and the Welsh Government

Please be aware that the Welsh Government has devolved powers and the Covid-19 restrictions may be different from where you live. Please check the latest Welsh government rules before travelling. In order to comply with the law we have to remain 2m apart from all guests, we cannot enter the cottages unless there is an emergency and, we have to wear a mask if we do so. Please check the restrictions if you are booking for more than one family group.
