Welcome to Stones Cottages, our holiday cottages have been lovingly created from the ruins of an 18th century agricultural courtyard. Each dwelling has been renovated using a mixture of traditional and environmentally friendly techniques to create beautiful, comfortable and unique holiday cottages.

Eco Friendly Holiday Cottages

We have tried to keep the environment as toxin-free as possible by using plant-based paints, lime plasters and mortars, to create peaceful, warm and welcoming cottages in harmony with the environment. All the water comes from our own borehole, is beautifully clean, but is, of course, regularly tested. All our cottages contain wooden, hand-made, well-equipped kitchens – we have tried to think of everything you will need. Furthermore, many very good restaurants are all within easy reach. Most of all, we hope we have created a place where you can enjoy a wonderful holiday, complete with all comforts and considerations.

Where To Find Us

We are situated on Strumble Head in North Pembrokeshire, where the holiday cottages form part of an 18 acre smallholding which is managed using organic principles, with an emphasis on wildlife and biodiversity. Stones Cottages boasts views across green fields, from where the dramatic cliffs of the Pembrokeshire coastal path descend to the small coves and beautiful beaches that make this part of the British Isles so magical. The sometimes peaceful, sometimes dramatic beauty of the area is home to an abundance of wildlife. From the Atlantic grey seal, to colourful purple heathers, numerous species of seabirds, and the beautiful, year-round yellow gorse that adorns the surrounding fields and cliff tops, Pembrokeshire is a haven for those who love the natural world.

Footpaths, Strumble Head & The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path

A number of footpaths lead from our holiday cottages to the coast and surrounding villages. In addition, you are also welcome to wander the land of the smallholding on which the cottages are located, old Llandruidion Farm, and say hello to the animals. A blazing fire, beautiful sunsets, stunning countryside, vibrant wild flowers and a warm welcome all await you.

Dog Friendly Holiday Cottages in Pembrokeshire

Well-behaved dogs are very welcome. There are a number of fields that they can run round in without leads for most of the year. We do ask that you bring your own dog beds and bowls and keep them off the furniture and upstairs. We are sorry, but we cannot accept cats or other pets.

Holiday Cottages with Electric Car Charging

We currently have a 7kw type 2 charger which you are welcome to use. There is a charge for this at the current rate we pay for electricity from Good Energy. We ask that you keep track of the kw/h that you use so we can calculate the cost at the end of your stay.
