Green Holidays at Workshop Cottage
A Spacious, yet Cosy Eco Holiday Cottage
Workshop is a comfortable, cosy eco holiday cottage sleeping up to six people in three spacious bedrooms. The downstairs bedroom has two large, comfortable single beds with an en suite shower room. Lovely views of the courtyard garden and Pembrokeshire countryside can be seen from the windows. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with two single beds. There is a family bathroom upstairs, complete with a bath and shower, and we keep a selection of books and children’s games in the cottage, available for guests to use.
The lounge contains comfy seating for six set around the generous log burning stove. There is also a flat screen smart TV, and stereo system. The windows boast views of the pretty courtyard garden. Also, downstairs is a large, separate kitchen with a dining table which seats six-to-eight people. The kitchen includes a low energy fridge with ice box, induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. From the kitchen window, views of St David’s Head can be seen.
What is Included in the Price?
All the bed linen and towels for the holiday cottage are included, these are fair trade and organic. We also provide kitchen staples such as oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, eco cleaning cloths and products, foil and baking parchment, as well as some bathroom essentials such as locally-produced, organic shampoo, conditioner and soap, and eco toilet roll.
The price also includes the first load of logs, and, of course, water and electricity.
Electric Vehicle Charging
We currently have a 7kw type 2 EV charger which you are welcome to use. There is a charge for this at the current rate we pay for electricity from our green energy provider. We ask that you keep track of the kw/h that you use so we can calculate the cost at the end of your stay.
Dog Friendly Cottages
We allow up to two dogs in the cottage as long as they are well-behaved, and stay off the furniture. We do ask that you bring beds and bowls for them and do not let them upstairs. Please do not leave them on their own in the cottages. There are a number of fields around Llandruidion, the small-holding where Stones Cottages are situated, where they can run without leads. Please check with us which fields can be used when you get here.

Family Friendly Holidays
For those with a young family we can supply stair gates, a fireguard, a high chair and a cot. Please let us know at the time of booking, so we can get them set up for your arrival. For those requesting a cot, we would be grateful if you could bring your own bedding for it.
There are also fields to run about in and a small woodland to explore. This self-catering holiday cottage makes a great place to holiday with a family. We are in easy reach of many beaches and attractions.
Availability & Booking
Please note that all bookings made are provisional until confirmed by email upon receipt of the deposit and/or payment of balance. We will not release your provisionally booked dates without first trying to contact you, however we do ask for quick payment of the deposit/ balance so that we can confirm the booking for you as soon as possible. At present, we only accept bank transfers and cheques, if this is a problem please call.
The deposit is £100 per week, payable within a week. The remainder of the balance is due a month before your holiday. If the start of your holiday is within a month of booking, the full balance is due upon booking. We will write to remind you of the amount and payment details.
