A Comfortable Holiday Cottage With Stunning Views
Sunset is a spacious, eco self-catering holiday cottage boasting beautiful views of the countryside and the sea, as well as fantastic Pembrokeshire sun sets.
Sunset has two bedrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The upstairs bedroom contains a king-size bed with an en suite bathroom. The downstairs bedroom has two large, comfortable single beds, and has an en suite wet room. An additional fold out bed can be installed in the downstairs bedroom if required, please let us know at the time of booking so we can get this ready for you.
Sunset has an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room, which contains a large, comfortable sofa and easy chairs, a log burning stove, a family sized dining table as well as a fully equipped wooden, hand-crafted kitchen with built-in dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a smart TV and stereo system.
Please note, whilst there is a downstairs bedroom, the upstairs of Sunset Cottage is reached via an alternate step wooden staircase (a little like a ladder) which is fairly steep and may not be suitable for young children, the elderly and people with limited mobility. See photo.
If this is not right for you, Workshop Cottage has a standard staircase.
What is Included in the Price?
All the bed linen and towels for the holiday cottage are included, these are fair trade and organic. We also provide kitchen staples such as oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, eco cleaning cloths and products, foil and baking parchment, as well as some bathroom essentials such as locally-produced, organic shampoo, conditioner and soap, and eco toilet roll.
The price also includes the first load of logs, and, of course, water and electricity.
Electric Vehicle Charging
We currently have a 7kw type 2 EV charger which you are welcome to use. There is a charge for this at the current rate we pay for electricity from our green energy provider. We ask that you keep track of the kw/h that you use so we can calculate the cost at the end of your stay.
Dog Friendly Cottages
We allow up to two dogs in the cottage as long as they are well-behaved, and stay off the furniture. We do ask that you bring beds and bowls for them and do not let them upstairs. Please do not leave them on their own in the cottages. There are a number of fields around Llandruidion, the small-holding where Stones Cottages are situated, where they can run without leads. Please check with us which fields can be used when you get here.
Sorry, due to severe allergies we cannot accept cats or any other pets.
Family Friendly Holidays
For those with a young family we can supply stair gates, a fireguard, a high chair and a cot. Please let us know at the time of booking, so we can get them set up for your arrival. For those requesting a cot, we would be grateful if you could bring your own bedding for it.
There are also fields to run about it and a small woodland to explore. This self-catering holiday cottage makes a great place to holiday with a family. We are in easy reach of many beaches and attractions.

Please note that all bookings made are provisional until confirmed by email upon receipt of the deposit and/or payment of balance. We will not release your provisionally booked dates without first trying to contact you, however we do ask for quick payment of the deposit/ balance so that we can confirm the booking for you as soon as possible. At present, we only accept bank transfers and cheques, if this is a problem please call.
The deposit is £100 per week, payable within a week, preferably as soon as possible. The remainder of the balance is due a month before your holiday. If the start of your holiday is within a month of booking, the full balance is due upon booking. We will write to remind you of the amount and payment details.
