There is much to do in and around Fishguard, but what’s on and when? We have chosen some of our favourite events. Why not come and have a green holiday, staying in one of our eco holiday cottages and visit one of these exciting local events.

Fishguard Agricultural Show/ Fishguard Show | August 2018 TBC | Enjoy an exciting day out for all the family at this typical Agricultural Show. Attractions include judging of Cattle, Sheep, Pig and Horse Classes; Parade of Vintage machinery, Threshing demonstrations, Tractor tug-of-war; Foxhounds; Crafts; Horticulture; Fairground and a variety of Trade Stands. St Davids Cathedral Music Festival | 25th May - 2nd June 2018 | The St. Davids Cathedral Festival has been responsible for bringing classical music to the heart of West Wales for over 35 years. Things to do and places to go close to Stones Cottages
Fishguard has much to offer. From a community run cinema to a brilliant surplus food cafe, a weekly folk club and farmers market. Did you also know that Fishguard was the site of the last invasion of Britain and has it’s own “Bayeux Tapestry” documenting the invasion at the library in the Town Hall.

Transition Community Cafe | It’s open Tuesdays to Fridays from 10.30am until 4pm and has activities for children as well as evening and weekend events. | On the left hand side as you go into the Coop Supermarket 32a High Street, Fishguard SA65 0AR | This not-for-profit enterprise reduces food waste and saves carbon by stopping food going to landfill.
